Wide range of products
Since our founding in 1923, when we started production and sales of electric wires for radio wiring, we have expanded the types and quantities of wires we manufacture in response to market needs. Currently, we produce a wide variety of electric wires, from 325 ㎟ power cables to ultra-thin electric wires of several tens of microns, and using these wires we also produce wire harnesses, power cords, FA cables, branch cables and solar power generation-related cables. Utilizing our functions as a trading company, we also contribute to society with a wide range of products, even fabless products.
Pursuing high quality
We believe that pursuing high quality is essential in meeting the needs of our customers. Improving the quality of sales activities, design development, production processes, delivery, and services creates trust. Our history of pursuing high quality has left many imprints, such as with domestic and international safety standard certification, quality awards, and ISO9001 certification for our various production bases. It is supported by the state-of-the-art production lines and passion for creating higher quality products.
Overseas expansion
Since 1969, when we acquired the standards for electric wires for equipment wiring in the United States (UL) and Canada (CSA), we have acquired the standards of various other countries around the world, contributed to overseas exports by major consumer electronics manufacturers, and started selling in overseas markets. We have promoted internationalization ahead of the industry, including technology licensing and technical cooperation with foreign companies. Since establishing the SHANGHAI factory in China in 1992 and starting full-scale overseas production, we currently manufacture and sell "YUKITA Products" on a global scale at our five production bases in Shanghai, Chuzhou and Jiangxi, China, as well as in Thailand and Cambodia.
Development project
We believe that it is our mission to transmit electricity and information safely and reliably. There are many high-functionality and high-density electrical products used around us. Above all, these must be safe for humans and the global environment. We pursue higher levels of safety and reliability, and are working to develop environmentally friendly products. We received ISO 14001 certification in 2000. We also comply with the EU environmental laws and regulations RoHS Directive, REACH Regulations and SDG's initiatives.

Since our founding in 1923 as a pioneer in the electric wire and cable industry, we have devoted ourselves to the development of society as a pioneer in the industry by striving to develop new products and services in various new fields and advancing overseas expansion. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all of our business partners and other related parties for their generous patronage and support.
In 2016, after merging with TOKIWA ELECTRIC CORPORATION, an affiliated company specializing in electronic and electrical components, we have introduced an "in-house company system" and aim to become a "super manufacturer, global innovative company" that transcends the framework of a manufacturer by fusing the selling capacity and overseas network of a trading company with the product appeal, technical strength, and development capability of a manufacturer. Even after reaching our 100th anniversary, we will continue to strengthen, diversify and internationalize our management base for the sustainable development of the YUKITA Group.

History
- 1923 Tsuneji Yukita established Yukita Electric Wire Manufacturing Plant in Kita Ward, Osaka City, and started production and sales of cotton-braided insulated wires for radios
- 1931 Succeeded in establishing domestic production of special copper stranded wires for heavy electrical equipment
Started production and sales of flexible copper braided wires (flat lead wires) and flexible copper stranded wires (round lead wires) - 1932 Became a designated factory of the Ministry of Communications and started production and sales of various communication wires
- 1949 Kazusuke Yukita established Yukita Electric Wire, Co., Ltd. with a capital of 1 million yen and started production of vinyl insulated wires
- 1952 Commenced production of vinyl compounds and completed a full-scale integrated production system for vinyl insulated wires
- 1953 Established a new copper refining and rolling facility and completed a fully integrated production system from copper refining
- 1955 Started production and sales of power cords with integrated plugs
- 1957 Succeeded in the first domestic production of 600 V vinyl-insulated vinyl-sheathed cables (VVF cables) jointly with the engineers of Chudenko Co., Ltd., and started full-scale production and sales
Certified as Japan's first factory permitted to display Japanese Industrial Standard for rubber cords and vinyl cords - 1961 Increased capital to 30 million yen and started production and sales of wire harnesses
- 1968 Established Shiga factory exclusively for power cables in Higashiomi City, Shiga Prefecture
