What is an extension cord set?
　An "extension cord set" is a product that does not have a winding mechanism for power wires (limited to cords) and is intended for extension connection of cords used mainly for household use. It refers to the one that comes with a connector ("insertion plug" or "cord connector body").
　In 2012, the ministerial ordinance revision of the Electrical Appliance and Material Safety Law enacted a standard for an "extension cord set" in an assembled state as a countermeasure against an increase in accidents.(In the past, there were standards for "insertion plugs," "cord connector bodies," and "cords" as single units, but there were no standards for sets.)
